Industry is an attempt to explore the intimate relationship between aesthetics and human savoir-faire in building engineering.
To me, industrial architecture embodies not only progress but also a profound sense of harmony. There is a unique fascination in the beauty that emerges when mathematics, human ingenuity, and raw materials converge, producing results that are both functional and visually captivating. Photographing industrial sites is a meditative process for me, a way to connect deeply with the structures and materials. It feels as if I become one with the matter in front of me, experiencing a profound sense of unity and tranquility.
I mainly use a CAMBO camera to capture these sites, which allows me to represent architecture and industry with unparalleled precision. This specialized equipment enables me to capture perfectly straight lines and avoid any deformations caused by perspective or lenses. By doing so, I ensure that the true form and grandeur of industrial structures are faithfully rendered, preserving their inherent beauty and complexity.
